The Office of the Prosecutor General
The Office of the Prosecutor General acts as the central administration agency of the Finnish prosecution service with responsibility for the operating conditions of the entire service. The Office also functions as the staff of the Prosecutor General. This involves work within human resources and finance management, communication, training and development, and the international activities of the prosecution service.
A total of around 40 public servants, including 13 state prosecutors, work at the Office of the Prosecutor General. In addition to prosecutors, the Office also employs office staff, as well as specialists working in human resources and finance management, communication, training and development and international activities.
